1st/2nd age-Locations

In the time of Gondolin and Nargothrond, (the years of the house of Hador and Numenor) we hear of many locations that are not labeled  or translated on the map of Middle Earth, but we know that places like Doriath and so forth, are located in Eriador(North-West in Middle Earth) and that Lindon(home of Gil Galad and landing of the Numeron ships) was located near the shores of Eriador, around the Ered Luin and Lhun.
