The 2nd age
Events of the beginning to the end of the 2nd age: Dwarves leave the Ered Luin and establish a city in Moria and so building Khazad dum. The death of Tar Minyatur King of Numenor. The first fleet of Numeron ships appear. During the first years of the 2nd age, Tar Aldrion and his grandson begin the start of the ship convoy to sail to Middle Earth to aid Gil Galad (Elven king of Lindon) and yet only a few Numeron kings did this after. The reason for this was that according to Gil Galad, a new shadow was forming in the east, and the one responsible for this was Sauron, one of Morgoth’s servant. Soon after Sauron persuaded a keen elf smith to forge rings of power under his instructions, and so the 20 rings of old were created, thus Sauron used these rings to rule all the races and peoples of Middle Earth. He gathered orcs from the mountains and from the deep east, and so they grew in strength and later assaulted the realm of Eriador (North West Middle Earth) but were driven back by Gil Galad and his Numeron reinforcements. Sauron drove most of the dwarves out of Moria and killed them. The dwarves then scatter, some venturing and daring even to go to east of the Misty Mountains, but they perish. Later in the years, darkness came over Numenor and the Kings became blinded in it and so made folly decisions. The Numerons began a revolt against the Valar and planned its destruction, but such a folly move led them to their deaths, and so soon ended the time of Numenor, after the final wave of darkness they were destroyed. The Numeron forces that came to the aid of Gil Galad, lived in Middle Earth, and recuperated and nursed their armies. And Gil Galad began his work in recruiting the silven elves and others to help him in the war against Sauron. Sauron is captured and taken to Numenor; there he seduces the king, Tar Pharazon to rebel against the Valar. Valinor is destroyed and so too is Numenor. Elindil flees to Middle Earth with his sons. Soon after (years/decades) the last alliance is formed, lead by Gil Galad and Elindil. Sauron is overthrown. Isildur takes the ring for himself and is slain. Thus is the end of the second age.
